My buddy has a set of kick panels in fiberglass for his first gen and they also fit a 2nd gen neon.

I'm going to make a mold but what is the best way at doing this?

if your making a mold to reproduce them, i recommend applying a wax coat to the pods you have and make the mold out of plaster of paris, it will take about 24HRS to dry and will leave a perffect detailed mold that you could use over and over again, cause most substances wont stick to the plaster either. Make 100% sure the pod is triangle shaped and has no areas that get wider near the end, otherwise it will not slide out of the plaster and you would have to cut it apart and that would defeat the purpose all together.

no problem and good luck, it took me a few tries to perfect the mixture ratio for that plaster of paris....try getting some advice from the dealer where you pick it up, if you go with my sujestion
