How well does fiberglass resin harden on MDF? I am going to resin the insidee of a MDF sub box the undercoat it

If your just using the resin to seal the sides and the interior, then just brush it on ( no prep required ). If you are using it on the outside to attach another piece onto the enclosure, sand down the outside to get a rough surface for the fiberglass to bite into.
