I want to make a fiberglass  subwoofer enclosure, but I need know how can I calculate the exact volume ? Someone told me that I can fill the enclosure with water to know the esact volume. I Gal = 1 foot c. Is it true? Is there any other way to calculate ? Tanks your help will be really appreciate.

Instead of water, you can use those packaging peanuts to fill it up, then get a box with a predetermined volume and fill that up with the peanuts from the enclosure (the easiest would probably be a cubic foot, or smaller so you can get as close to an exact measurement as possible). So those peanuts do have more than one use, hahaha. Happy filling.

One gallon is not 1 cu. ft.  I was told that 7.5 gallons of water is 1 cu. ft  This seems like a lot, but you should use the above idea with the peanuts to find out.

Think about what you just said.  I know for certain a 5 gal bucket is more than 1 cu. ft.

MuscleHead320lb, specialblendj is very close, there are 7.481 gallons in a cubic foot. One gallon is equal to .13368 ft.^3.
