Use bolts to secure it to the bottom of the floor.

Sounds extream.. Wont that involve putting holes in the carpet? How many would u suggest and would i just drill a hole strait threw the glass then carpet then metal and use a washer and metal screw?

Yes you will have to put holes in the carpet, but they will be hidden with the enclosure over top of it. If your concerned about the condition of the carpet, go down to a local recycler and get another trunk carpet for your project and keep yours when you want to remove the enclosure. Use a washer, nut and bolt combination to secure the box to the floor of the trunk.

i use popnuts into the glass and rivets through the trunk floor save the origional carpet and do as velocity motors says and if you have to take it out use rubber grommets in the holes in the trunk floor,i usually use catches for hardtop roofs and rivet the hooks to the floor this way they are adjustable and your enclosure can easily be removed
