i want to take out the passenger seat in my truck and make a fiberglass mold of it to put back in my truck and use as an enclouser, would the weird shape of the enclosure effect the sub performance?

No, the less flat surface in an enclosure the better.Less resonating frequencies within the enclosure.

Basically, try to get as close as you can with just measuring and then to find out what you actually have afterwards, you fill the enclosure with packing popcorn and get a cube box that is 1 cu.ft. and fill it with what you had in the enclosure. This will give you a better idea of the volume. If it's too big, use wood or more fiberglass to take up more room to shrink the enclosure and if it too small, then fill with Dacron filler to fool the sub into thinking that it is 20 % larger in volume. Trick to the Dacron filler is to make sure that you are not less than 20 % of the optimum volume for the subwoofer.

Just use fleece or a stretchy material to pull over the existing seat. Wrap the seat in foil so it doesn't get any resin on it. You will need to do thi in a two part so you can take the mold off.
