87 supra turbo dash need new look
my supra need a new look to that crack and old looking dash. what are the methods that ppl use to upgrade the dash?
any suggestion would be great....

There's a couple of ways to accomplish what you want for a new looking dash.

  • Go to a local parts recycler & find yourself a dash from another Supra. Bring it back and redesign yourself a new dash and fiberglass the dash for your finish
  • Take your existing one and do the same as above ( I suggest goingt o get a different one and then doing the fiberglass incase something goes wrong )
  • Just refinish the one you have ( no redesigning of the dash ) and finish it in fiberglass

so i should get one from the junk yard and strip the top vinyl and cover it w/ fglass?

That's what I would do. The junk yard prices should not be too expensive and it gives you the added comfort that if you do something worng with the dash, it's not going to leave you stranded without a car to drive.
