Hello all,

I am in the process of resto-rodding my 1951-54 chevy/GMC truck. ( Dont ask, its a long story). Any ways, I dont want to cut up the dash to install a CD Player. I was thinking of making a console that would sit directly below the dash, and drop straight down verticly to the floor. I was thinking of making it out fo MDF, andcovering it with box carpet. I was also thinking of placing 2 8-10" subs facing out in the console.

Has anyone seen something like this? Any help would be apreciated.

Bill

It really depends on the amout of space you have or are wanting to use.  You might be better off going with one sub facing down.  Also depending on the shape, you may get a better fit if you use fiberglass.
