what are you trying to mold?  if its the trunk liner, you just mask off the part and lay fiberglass on it.  if its the front, you build a frame first, then you stretch fleece over it.  thats pretty vague, but here are some links that may help.

look at the JL site in the turorials.there are a couple things in there on making molds.....one is called bed time for bondo. i dont remember what the other is called

other wise there are a lot of different types of molds you can make, silicone, rubber, foam, fiberglass, and so on. it kinda depends on how many times it will be used, what the part looks like you are making the mold of and what not.

im going to try to build a body kit for my car.  i think im going to use foam as a mold because ive heard its pretty easy to work with.  i think before that im going to try some more simpler pieces because ive only built two boxes so far and im still trying to get the hang of it.  boxes were pretty easy, but something like this is going to take a lot more time and skill.  ive also read the bed time for bondo page and its a really good tutorial, so id recommed that as well.
