I just got my jasper 200 circle guide and my sears craftsman router.  But looking at the instructions on how to mount  it has me a little confused.  Is the finished router suppose to look like this:

My question is, when I have the router flipped, I can't see the markings on the circle guide.  I can't flip the circle guide over, b/c the screws will be protruding from it.  Am I suppose to put the plastic base of the router back on?  If someone has a pic they can show me of how it's suppose to look like, that'll be great.

Thanks :)

That looks like a nice router, how much was all of it, router and guide?

Yes that is how the finished router is supposed to look. Doesn't make much difference what side the markings are on just pick the hole you want and go for it.. Stick a small nail through it so you don't loose your place and flip the router. No big deal.. Good luck,

Mike

Sweet, thanks.  I just wanted to get everything out and put together so I can get an idea of how it works and stuff.  I got the router from Sears, it's a Craftsman Plunge Router (model number 917515)and I got it for around $70 then I got 10% off of that for being a craftsman club member.  I got the jasper circle making guide from www.partsexpress.com for $40
