I was looking at a site and some of the installs that the shop has done and i noticed that when they modify the console for a headunit or a video control module, after the filling is done they retexture it and it looks just like the stock plastic. how does one acheive such a finish?

theres a textured spray you can get to put on before you paint.  im sure that any autobody shop would have it.

this site has a lot of pictures during and after the install process.  its help give me some ideas and tips.  i believe they show you what spray they use on one of the console installs.
