yes the box only has 1 layer of glass right now...just put in on like hrs ago going to put sum more on tomorro and this weekend..im thinking like 5 or 6 layers because of the 8 subz do u guys think that would be to much?

i don't think that 6 layers would be enough, considering the size of the box and the number of woofers sharing the chamber.

I would go 10. Stand on it and shift your weight and make sure it doesnt flex AT ALL and if it does add more. But so for it looks great. what color are u gona make it and whats goin in it? Cant wait to see the final result

and, it doesnt seem to have any internal bracing to aid in the rigidity, thats why id put more layers. but still a nice first box!!! ill have pics of my first project kickpanels in progress soon!

hella nice. thats a pretty big first fg project. id just say you might want to add bracing and lots of layers. it wouldnt be that tough to glass in some support beams in there and it would strengthen it up alot. i like tho. you must be a bass addict like me. started with one 12. a couple weeks later i got bored and added another. then another and soon you got a whole collection=).
