install cost

alright what i want is fiberglassed sub enclosure, i will be getting bags later as well, so i want this in an s10 EXT cab, painted, what i would like is, 2 "slopes" from the bottom edge of each window to conceal a sub (12 inch), slope down steep enuff to have a "valley" in the middle, in the middle of the "valleey" i want a stand up amp rack containing a 1000/1 JL audio amps, vertical or hoizontel. in front will be my air tank, which i would like to extend to bubble caps to make it look like they cover the edge of the tank to make is smooth.  fiberglass the back wall fully, and where the slopes meet the back seat fiberglassed shut.  if u understand what im sayin it would be helpful, also, on the back wall i want two "shelves" one to hold a air system compressor for my tank, and one to hold 1 capacitor, or stinger battery.

your looking at about a 1-3k dollar project

Yup, that's about right. You can lower the costs if you have it finished in vinyl instead of paint or do half paint and half vinyl.

i wish i had the skills to do what i want to do for my setup, im fiberglassing a regular box today,and sprayin it white. how much is it gunna be to build what i want roughly.  what kind of wood do u mold with anyways, and that stays in when your done or no? i saw a thin on jl where it seperated from the glass, but then people on here say to keep some MDF behind it.....would someone like to explain?

JL usually makes molds for everything. that is probably what you saw on their site. if you are not going this route, it is best to keep the MDF in there. it helps support the weight of the subs or amps you are installing into it.
