I finally finished fiberglassing my box. It turned out great. Here's some shots. It's being painted to match the car right now.

hehe, first i used that craftman all in one tool. Didn't work well so i used jig saw. It's so jagged cause i had to cut more away in order for my MTX 8000's to fit.

lol, u want to know a trick with that all in one sh*ter (I have one and know what u mean). Get some router bits, those little crappy bits that come with it dont work. They usually come with the 1/4" adaptor nessisary for most router bits. The only thing flaw to that is u'll have to recalculate the distance for the hole to accomodate the bigger bit.

Funny a$$ question, take a look at one of the pics you posted.
How come the box looks so puny in comparison to that computer keyboard in the back, is that some kind of miniature mold or something?? haha

It's a model. I like to build things as a model before i go out and spend a month on it. I tried to fiberglass that, but it didn't work out. But i had a clue of how it looked like before i started cutting.

i think you should have made it a liitle more shallow, depending on volume, it seems to stick out a little. otherwise very well done, looks smooth and painted well, it just seems it could form to the car a little more.

I know it's a little late, but you can buy pre-cut sub mounting rings that are clean edged at www.selectproducts.com

It makes it much easier on you that way.
