I have maxed out the space inside my center console and need to buy/build some sort of enclosure for lcd screen brains and a voltage converter.  My thoughts are to mount all this stuff to a "board" of some sort and then mount the board to the back of a rear folding seat.  The "board" or box or whatever would need some sort of durable cover so when the rear seats are folded flat I could lay junk on top of it.  It's in a Jeep Liberty and space is tight.  I already have a sub under one front seat and dvd under the other and soon an xbox under the rear.  Does this sound like an ok idea and are there any companies that make this sort of thing?  thanks

I would say mdf and plexi for ease and looks. You may also be able to hide them elsewhere so don't limit yourself to the back seat. You could try behind the rear quarter panel trim.

the lcd brain you can mount under the dash..look under the drivers side for a thick factory wire bundle thats high in the dash enough to hide it..and mount it to it..use good zip ties and tighten it up real good and theres half of your problem...as for the converter, thats a different story, its possible that it may go under the dash around the glove box insert..but i havent worked on a liberty either so this is just a guess.
