I made this custom dash for my nissan truck in order to place my TV. I took a dash kit and some plastic and glued it all together with some plastic repair adhesive. The new location for the TV is where the AC vents use to be. Just want to share it with everyone to see what you think.

Good job Bro !! Is this a flush mount installation or does the deck still stick out about 1" ?

Thanks Velocity Motors. The actual deck is just about flush to the dash, but the actual TV will pop out to about an inch away from the dash.

Looks good. What brand of plastic repair did you use?

After failing to find any Dominion Sure Seal, I used
3m Automix 5885 Rigid plastic repair and it worked well.

I use the 5883. Same stuff, separate tubes. One black and one white. Is the blue material spot filler (glaze, icing, etc.)?

The 5885 also comes in two seperate tubes. One is white
and one is a dark blue. Mixed together they make a baby blue color. The 5885 can also be used as a filler for any pin holes.

Where would you get that stuff from? Auto paint store? Online?

You can get it from either place, but I got it at an Autopaint store.
