Hey guys, I know this is a big question. But I really need the help if you guys could please give it to me.  First off I know that to measure volume you use length x width x depth and you have to use inside measurements but, my first question is this

1. What is the measurement of 1 cubic foot  " x " x " ?

2.What would 1 1/2 cubic feet be?

Basically I need to know how to determine the cubic feet of an enclosure so I can make an estimate of how big it needs to be.

thanks for the help in advance

you can use 16x14x12. that will give you 1.555 cubic feet.

it depends on what shape you are looking for, 1 1/2 ft3 could be many different dimensions, you need to specify the shape you are trying to acheive.  if your going for a more square shape, 13.75 x 13.75 x 13.75 = 1.504ft3 and 15.5 x 14 x 12 is 1.502ft3, i think that is the closest you are going to get without going into 16ths and 32nds.  and of course that's internal dimensions
