i've been putting aside my amp rack for sometime now, and its really gettin to me.
For my amp rack. i was thinking of JB welding, or a simple weld to the trunk, of 4 rods sticking out of the carpet which is where my feet for the amp would bolt down.
sounds stupid, but nonetheless i want to try it, they are probably going to be about 3-5 inches in length, but thats a rough guess no more than 5 anyways. my question is, can i expect any problems with this type of design? they will be securely cemented to the body, and im thinking of milling out feet to weld to the rods equal to the feet for my amp so the 2 can be firmly bolted together.
im excited to try the idea, but thought i'd get any input on the matter before going in and doing something stupid

I did something like that to mount down the air tank for my air suspension. Its easy, just make sure you get a good tack and it will hold down well
