What type of material do you prefer to use? I went to a local fabris store and found fleece 100% polyester that was like $6.99 a yard... It looks really nice like it would stretch fairly easy... just wondering if you used such materials or do you only use fiberglass mat and cloth???

Yes, we use polyester fleece as a form building/achieving layer.

Try Wally World (Wal-Mart).  Ask them for the cheapest fleece that they have.  It's not as fluffy as the expensive one but it gets the job done.  You can expect to pay from 2-3 dollars a yard.

ahahha nice replys!! I've done some glassing before but only used mat and cloth... I found a really stretchy almosy silk like material,  very thin but it stretched a lot, I normally use that as my first layer to get the shape down... is that a good idea?

I like to use the thinest micro fleece i can find. Wal-mart is cheap and has it all.
