I would like to use the SEM Vinyl And Plastic on my dash  like i did on my fiberglass pice. I did a test piece and i cleand the test piece very good off and everything went find but on the edges of the plastic test piece i can scrap the color of. Someon was telling me that i have to use a adhesive promoter first before i spray on the sem on plastic so it would not flake off. Can anyone coment on this and actually tell how to do it or if there is a better way of doing it. But it has to be the SEM (silver 15083) color because thats what i used on my fiberglass piece. Thanks for the support.

i am by no means an expert here... but i thougth that you have to use an adhesion promoter when youre painitng plastic. we used an adhesion promoter when we painted my urethane body kit, and it hasnt flaked off at all.

Yeah the guy did my kit, did the same thing.  If you look down a couple of posts a guy just got finished painting part of his dash and he also used an adhesion promoter.   And in fact https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp?tid=42968&PN=2       linky!!!!
