i am makeing two separate boxes for my trunk. i molded them in, but what if they arent the same size in volume, but close. will it affect my sound.

technically yes it will, , ,fill the box's with packing peanuts, measure how much of a differnce there is, ,and in the bigger box put something in there to fill up space till there both equal.

Not really, assuming a sealed enclosure that's within say 20% and using identical woofers.

and cant u use insulation to trick the box into thinking its bigger...therefore the ability to make 2 different boxes sound the same?

ive tried useing poly fill to try and trick the subs and every time i blow subs. and thats the only time i do. any ideas?
