In a hurry the other day i taped a centre console to make a box for it, the problem is that i forgot some how to foil it off after!  when the resin hardened i had a B#tch of a time getting it out then after that i peeled the tape back and all the tape resedue is left behind!  How do i get the resedue off?

I dont want to go to dodge and get it all new!

HELP!!!

did you try goo gone?

You can get it at just about any store in the cleaning section.

how does acitone work on plastic? i know it eats paint but I've used it on vinyl before on some tough spots...it was white vinyl so i still dont know how it effects color, but i think it should be fine on plastic....o u can always use some liquid pre buff that tire shops use, we use it to remove the adhesive left behind on sticky weights so i know that would work well
