did you use the radio panel from factory and did a mold from fiberglass or how did you do it?

I'm pretty sure that he took the factory head unit console out and then cut away a square that would fit the dvd face.    Then he took the face of the dvd player and just molded it into place, and sanded and primered.

Pretty much what realitycheck said and I molded in a GM recessed dash kit to relocate the single din radio to the bottom. The A/C controls were where the top of the screen is and the double din radio cutout was below it.

Where did you relocate the A/C to? I have a '98 S10 I'd like to do a similar job on.  I'm not sure where I want the a/c controls, since it's a stick and there isn't a lot more visible space in the cab...

Where did you move the A/C to?  I have a '98 S10 and would like to do a similar job, but don't know where to put my a/c controls.  since it's a stickshift with 60/40 bench seats, I'm kind of tight on visible space to mount the controls...
