please give me some ideas.... i've been trying to think of stealthy creative ways of connecting a removable top half of a fiberglass enclosure to a bottom half. what do you think? i'm doing a project on an 85 camaro so i wanted a box to fill the hole, with some sort of mdf baffle molded in going all the way around. and then make a top half incorperating 2 12" subs and an amp (flush mounted in a seperate box but still part of the whole project). the top half will probably have a wood baffle going all the way around as well, so the two parts would fit flush...but how do i connect the two so i can still service the equipment?

Why dont you just make the whole box removable so you can service it? Instead of making two pieces just make one that you can take out.

wouldn't that mean that i have to cut it open tho? not bad though because i was planning on having both halves removable so i could just take my top half and mount my drivers and amplifier and then mold it to the bottom and put the whole thing in...that would work....other options would be nice tho

No you just make one whole piece that completely encloses around the area you are talking about but where you can like take the subs out and lift it out!
