When you guys paint straight mdf, do you bondo, sand, primer, sand, then paint, or can you just primer, sand, paint.    I painted a logo on a box the other day and i put bondo on , was just wondering if i could hace saved myself a step

I would say sand down the mdf some just to try and make it kind of smooth and then, lay the primer down nice and thick,  sand it make it smooth and paint and you should be good.  I've never done this im just guessing here but why dont you just get you a spare piece of mdf and try it and see!
