I've got a couple of small Plexi windows on a box I'm building, approx 6" x 12".  They'll each have a logo etched into them, what's the easiest way to light them up?  From what I've read, I'm leaning toward just a few LED's, probably two on top and two on bottom of each window.  will this be enough?  Do I need the wide or narrow angle LED's?  Also, and here's a stupid question for you electrical people, when trying to calculate the size of the resistor that I'm going to need, do I add the voltages of the LED's, or is it just a constant?  I know V=IR, but if I have 4 LED in series rated at 2.3 volts, is that 2.3 volts, or 9.4?

Hey man im gonna give you a couple of links for lighting the plexi, actually you want to take the leds and put them in the plexi, just check out these links and you'll see. Also Im giving you a calculator for the leds voltage and resistors and stuff, im not really sure of your question on that so maybe explain a little better.

https://www.metku.net/index.html?sect=view&n=1&path=mods/sahkooppi/index_eng  that one should help with the question about the voltage of the leds go to the very bottom of the page and it refers to it.

https://www.metku.net/index.html?sect=view&n=1&path=mods/glowpad/index_eng  this one shows you about the leds he dremels out a path and runs it way up in there you dont have to do that, I think he was just trying to hide wires yours will be covered anyways so just drill a hole in the side of the plexi and I would put hot glue on the back of it.

https://www.metku.net/index.html?sect=view&n=1&path=mods/ledcalc/index_eng here is the calculator!

Any more questions let us know man, I hope I helped.

oh I will, this will be the biggest install I've ever done:

RE Audio 18 XXX in a 8 cube box tuned to 33

RE comps in the doors

Hifonics amps 1500 for the RE, 55X4 for the doors

Varad LED lightbars inside the enclosure (the ones and can change color and pulse to the music)

All going in an Explorer.  All the stuff has arrived and I've got the MDF cut.  Time to start assembling!
