does anybody kno' where i can get a t1.5 base 12V bulb for a vehicle cluster???  the t1.5 base is a twist off type.

yeah just wanted to get a different color (blue or hype white).  but they don't sell these colors.  tried finding gel caps for them to change the color, but the bulb size doesn't seem to be standard.  seemed to be somewhere in between the #194 and #74 size light bulbs???  they're for an '03 mitsubishi lancer cluster...

tried that, but the dispersal on led's are pretty bad.  u can see the bright spots where the leds are.  damn i wish i knew where to get those stupid bulbs...

you can disperse the light of the leds by sanding them down and leaving them real rough makes the light disperse more.

thanks for the idea.  the light dispersed ok, but was too dim.  tried to bumped up the current as well and wasn't good enough.  anyone kno' where i can get theatrical gel caps.  maybe i can try that instead.

I would look in the phone book under lighting.   Try this website for the leds you can order the brightest ones you want. My brother just ordered some blue ones and they were super super bright just one of them lit up most of our basement. www.superbrightleds.com
