I need an excuse to make a fiberglass box and I might try it in a 2004 Honda Pilot. The sub I'd be using is a 12" JL W0. I have no idea where to put it though or if it's even practical. I need ideas, so please help me! Here are some pics behind the third row of seats:

Your running into the same problem I have with my Grand Cherokee. I have more space, but the the cargo areas of poth are just hard to come up with ideas for. I had one but now that I ditched the Type X and ordered a W7 I have to start all over. The W7 needs like twice the air space I was gonna give the Type X. Anyway, I'm just saying good luck man.

I would love to show you pics of what im doing to my pathfinder, but i wana keep it secret till the end.  1 hint is that i may or may not be duplicateing the factory panels.

See, thats whats holding me back. I don't want to alter my Jeep at all. I wanna be able to take it back to factory if I decide to sell it cause I have had much experiance with tring to sell a vehicle that no longer resembles what the name says it is.

Oh but you see..what im doing is very removable, not 1 part of the vehicle is being altered, whell maybe a few bolt holes, but when the factory panels are put back no  one will know.

if I were you i'd go to a junl yard and get the pannel that has the grill for the speaker. Remove that speaker and build out from there using the pannel.

You may not even nead that pannel. Just remove it all, tape over it and start laying glass. Then you can make one of the classic "corner of trunk" boxes that you see so often. You can even then drill some bolt holes where the pannel used to be to bolt the bax in place (propperly sealed of course)

These are pictures of my wifes truck. We didn't want to lose any storage and the third row seat is still removable too. Single 12" woofer sealed box.

You did a great job on that box. I wish I had the room to do that. I might try a corner enclosure but I don't have the time right now.

I wasn't to scared and yes i used a dremel for the rough cut and then I filed it to my marked line for a smooth edge.

Any way it was my wifes truck so if i did screw up It would be double trouble, Know what I mean!!posted_image
