Ok, I've seen the site recommended a few times. Looking at the site I am having trouble figuring it out... Obv the difference between mat and cloth is easy to spot. But getting into the details of each:

What am I looking for?
How can I tell the important differences between them?

Best bet is to go to Lowes and get some of the bondo brand that they have. They will have both mat and cloth. Not the cheapest way if your constantly doing FG work, but for one box it seems better than ordering it.

Well I can obtain the mat and cloth cheap enough at the napa store(g/f's mother works there, I got 1 gallon of resin, hardener, and like 38" x 3 yds of mat for $39.13)
