hey, how do you determine what size you need to make your rings? i have 2 10w6v2's... i saw on a site a guy do 9 3/4 for his 10"s but it doesnt fit for mine...is there another way i can figure this out?
ps i have a router... and i use like a board then nail it in then spin it to make perfect circles... but sometimes the router cuts through my guide... any suggestions?

Check it out.like to cut perfect circles i get a piece of wood drill through it and then place my router on top of it... then measure the distance nad nail the middle then spin the wood.. kind like in this pictures...

Also lilbenny if you cant find what the dimensions are anywhere. Take your sub look at the front of the subwoofer, measure all the way across from one edge of the ring to the other. Second look at the bottom of the subwoofer ring in other words the part that sits on the wood. Measure the bottom of the ring, subtract this measurement from your previous measurement of the top and you have your dimension.

i cut my rings with a Jasper Audio circle jig, first i place the sub on the mdf to cut, and draw a circle around it to get an idea of the size, then place the router down and see which measurement works best on the jig and cut the rings out.
The mounting size for subs generally comes on the box, most 10s are around 9.5 - 9.75"
yeah 3 hours today.. sh*t load of sanding finally got some rings... yeah...
