My bud has a 2004 sunfire and over the past month or 2 we got together a few things...the sub is a junk jensen, and the amp is a sony 4ch...not sure on the specs but i think its a 450ish watt amp.  the box is .76 ft^3 and it sounds really good, everyone at work is pretty amazed too.  The wires all run down the back so its a fairly clean install..also an active (pyramid) x-over on the back.  For being a cheap setup it sounds really good.

I had to tap into different wires for the amp and the x-over as it was too much to run both remote wires off the one wire.  The way the system is setup is pretty cool...the amp and x-over stay on with the cdplayer so when the car is off u can still listen to the music (with sub) while the car is off for like 10 min or untill u open the drivers door.

Oh ok...sorry about that.  I was just showing it off.  It was actually an amazingly easy install.  I'm pretty proud of it.  Although its nothing compared to some of your systems, its better than some of my other buds systems and this one was way cheaper too, lol...its great to be able to show off what the difference between some audio knowledge and none does to help create a good system.  I have to hand it to this site though in helping create this setup as it wouldnt have sounded near this good without the knowledge accumulated from it.

lolposted_image...he just wanted something cheap that gave more bass...its actually better than i thought it would beposted_imagehmmm...does less excursion create a tighter bass?  actually dont answer that yet...i'm gonna see if i can find an answer first.  well i didnt find any answer so i'll ask in the audio forum

cant get much cheaper then the jensen, although pyramid has 14 dollar subs right now, lol...funny thing is i bought them when they were 25 bucks and gave them to my dad so i could have the JBL's...
