can fg be drilled or cut after its shaped and hardened???? (before painting...) or should all holes and cutouts be done before??? thanks all...:oops:

Drills cuts sands just fine after curing. Take your time though or it may crack if you force it.

is it that strong that i would have to use force? or is it like drilling screws thru wood? thanks...

Watch screwing in screws....
If you "wedge" screws in or over torgue them down I think it will crack.
You gotta pre drill the holes to the proper size so the screw is not wedging the figerglass.

Well, you should predrill any holes for screws. As for cutting, if you are doing a FG box with fleece then I usually cut the speaker holes out after the first layer with a razor blade. You need to pay attention to the ring while glassing ensure that the resin went through the fleece well. I trim the excess at edges after the all the glass has been laid and before I start sanding.
