Can anyone show or share their method of putting vinyl onto fiberglass. And some good pictures of fiberglass done with Vinyl will be nice too. Thanks.

when you are applying vinyl to fibreglass depending on how curvey it is, you need to heat the vinyl, you can do this with a hot air gun or hairdryer, this way it will be more stretchy. Use a contact adhesive rather than spray glue as this will come off in the heat after a while.
A sh*tload of practice.

I promise to be good.
Tell Darwin I sent you.
I've been sick lately, sorry I won't be on much.
Yeah Dyson I heat it up all the time no matter what, to me it seems like it sticks a whole lot better after it's been heated. I've got a real nice black and decker heat gun where you can switch between different temperatures and that works great because some vinyl's have more elasticity then others and can also take more heat then others. I like to use good old number 77 spray glue for starters and mix it with my favorite adhesive. I was just asking cause I talked to a guy a while back on the net and he told me after he heated his vinyl that he would use 77 at the beginning of the seam and the end and between that he would just apply resin with 18 drops of hardener in it instead of the recommended 12 to 14 drops.I have never heard of anyone else do it this way and I just wanted to hear what others were doing. He swore by the stuff though so, but I'm still iffy on if that would work as well as a good adhesive or not. What do you think of it?

My vinyl job came out decent. i didn't use a heat gun becuase it didn't occur to me at the time, but now after reading these posts i'll think i'll do just that. Corners are a
b!t@h. I used a regular upholstery adhesive you can pick up at your local Autozone or Kragen. It's an orange can with blue top, you can't miss it. Works okay, no problems yet with the heat making it shag or anything. I used handy panel board and JB qik cement to stick it to the enclosure. Hope it helps.

sanding sucks!
yeah ive heard of a few people using that, there are a few probs id think of if using resin though, firstly, its very messy, and quite thick, so you may be left with an un-even surface once the resin has hardened, and secondlyif you do make a mistake then its gonna be a lot of work to get it off again!
Id usually use this stuff..
