Where do you guys buy your fiberglass? anyone have any recomended places to buy it from? im interested in like a wholesale of it... since i plan to do more rather get a bulk and save then buying 10 packs of FG at home depot...

Break out the yellow pages and look for marine supply houses. You may have a Westmarine near you, thats the cheapest that I've found it in this area. ------------- Nik

I've ordered from US Composites https://uscomposites.com/mat.html Its probably not wholesale prices but it is definitely a lot cheaper than buying the small packages. For the 1.5oz 38" wide its like $2.35 a yard. Think my last order for 10 yards with shipping cost me about $3 a yard. Or like Nik said, check and see if you have a marine supply house near you. That is definitely a cheaper place to buy resin. ------------- Dean

I got my mat at Autozone and US composites but my resin I just bought at Autozone for about $28 for a big container. -------------  Plan, Research, Do

The places you guys buy your resin from.. How long has it been on the shelf? Resin does have a shelf life and quality and strength does decrease with time. Make sure you are buying good quality resin. You dont want to spend hours fabricating and framing up an enclosure, fleecing it, to apply your resin and have it never dry.
What color is the resin you are buying? High quality resin has a redish color, whereas cheap low grade resin can be green in color.
I get all my resin from Select Products. All high quality red colored and each container comes with a "born on date". One gallon of their resin runs about $22 or so + shipping. You may still pay the same price as you could locally, but its nice to know that you have a high quality resin thats going to make your piece as strong as possible.
