Hey people I need all the help that I can get on this project. I had a post a while ago but I could not find it so I wrote a new one. I’m building a box for one of my home boys and I’m stuck on what to do next. Here are the spec’s of the subs that I will be using.

MA121XQ
MA Audio MA121XQ 12" High Performance Dual 4 Ohm
Features:
350 Watts RMS
700 Watts Max
Dual 4-ohm Voice Coils
150 oz. Single Magnet
Mounting Depth: "
Mounting Diameter: "
Optimum Vented Box: 2 cu/ft
Round Port Diameter: (2) 4"
Square Port Area: 25 sq/in
Port Length: 15.5"
Optimum Sealed Box:
0.75 - 1.25 cu/ft
I want to make it a ported box with no divider between the subs. The box will be mostly MDF with a FG front. The box is exactly 4 cubic feet before the port that I made. I didn’t want to have a port on each side, so I made one port. I might have read the spec’s wrong, but I think that each sub calls for a port that is 25 sq/in and 15.5” in long. So what I did was make a port that is 50 sq/in and 15.5in long. I know that making a ported box that sounds right is hit or miss. I really don’t want to put in a lot of time on the fiberglass part of the box and have it sound like poop in the end. Here is a picture of the box with the port placed in it. I’m trying to get this box done for my boys birthday next week. I really need some help with the quickness. Will this work or should I scrap this and start over?

I didn't punch the numbers, but that don't look right. Download WinISD and try it out in there.
