I've got a quick question that I need an opinion on. I'm building a box that will have a large plexi window in the front of it measuring 30" x 26". Would 1/2" plexi be sturdy enough or should I think about going 3/4" on that large of a surface? The box will hold a pair of Inf Perfect 12's if that helps. I'm thinking 3/4", but for the price difference I want to be sure...

I would go with 3/4" the thicker the better. you dont want to skimp and get 1/2 especially if the plexi flex's at all your gonna lost db's. you might be able to go with a 1/2" if the box has a divider in the middle so it can give the glass more support. but if its one whole piece then for sure go with 3/4" good luck

No divider in this box, the plexi will be one large piece mounted at the edges.

I am thinkin of doing the same thing but with 2 8W7's, I would think that u should go with the 3/4" plexi, better safe then sorry, would be a serious pain if u had to pull that window out and redo it ^^. Good Luck
