Does anybody have any tips or tricks to bending 1/4 inch Plexi?

If you do not heat the plexi glass first you will end up breaking it in half. Use a small torch to heat the bend area and quickly bend the plexiglass. If you have a plexiglass/lexan bender you will still need to heat it up.

My experience with bending plexiglass involves using a heat gun instead of a torch. This way you have less chance of messing it up. If you don't have a heat gun, Sears sells a thing called a paint burner for about $10 that works just fine. The torch will work too, but you have a chance of burning it with the flame.
