I here alot about fleece!   Is it the standard??? Easier to work with???

When I hear fleece, I think of the fuzzy material that keeps you warm in the winter time, like the GAP commerical.

Where Can I get this "FLEECE" and at  what  price would i expect to pay???

obviously  i'm new to this!!!!!!

Any fabric store (Jo-annes fabric etc...). Get the bargain bin stuff , its about $2 a yard. Make sure its 100% polyester.

I coat the fleece with just resin first. Then depending on what it's for determines what you use after that. If it must be strong use a few layers of chopped mat next. If it's just pretty go straight to a mixture of filler with resin, harden it with cream hardner from the filler. Rage Gold filler is the best but It's hard to find locally most people order it online. I use ultimate bondo it comes in the blue quart size container and you can buy it anywhere. I like to use about a 70:30 filler to resin mix. You can play with it to get the desired results. good luck. Go here to see some fiberglass done with fleese.

the reason you should you polyester is that most glass fibre is made from polyester and makes for a much tighter bond

basic i know but someone might not know

Guys what do I use to hold the fabric down with, when comes to MDF rings?, partial door panel molds? Stock Kick panels? making tweeter pods?  When all done how do I stick it where I want to, when I'm done??????

Once again sorry for the back to back questions!

You should Use a 100% polyester Fleece due to the fact that cotton shrinks too much.

As far as holding the material to the workpiece, I have used staples and or Hot glue. Seems to work pretty good.

And I have used just the Fleece and resin in a few applications such as the door panels that I recently made. The fleece is pretty thick and if you apply a few coats of resin to it, it will be pretty damn strong.
