well guys I have started to glass my hatch in my show car and I decided to go big or go home ..so this is what I got so far.. I wraped it in fleece to see what It looked like and then took it off to seal the box floor..next I will build the motorized amp wrack and wrap the whole thing...any tips?

The only thing I would do is take the screws out that hold the trim rings, this is if you can, the I would run the router around the rings to give yourself and groove to staple the fleece too.

posted_imageThis picture is after the fleece has dried, I routered around every edge so that the fiberglass will be solid.  You could do the same thing and the subbox your building will be very solid.  You are doing a great job, keep it up.

Looks good, I would recommend laying up some fiberglass on the inside (2-3 layers) before you stretch your fleece. It will be easier than doing it

later.This way your inner box and supports will be good and solid. Keep us posted.
