whats up,
I am pretty new to working with fiberglass (I have done some small basic things - like a kickpanel etc).
Now I want to get into body fabrication for my car.

Would anyone out there please give me some instruction and advice on making a fiberglass spoiler?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks for your help juniorxs

I am going to get started in a couple of days I will post pics on my progress later.

Does anyone know the exact instructions for building a car spoiler?

juniorxs' solution points to a boat spoiler but I was also wondering if there are some considerations need to be taken for a car's spoiler consider aerodynamics and airflow?

Really a car spoiler today is just made to look good.  There are some that actually help with aerodynamics and downforce and stuff like that, but i dont think you need to actually worry about that.

Unless you have a windtunnel and are an engineer, don't worry about airodynamics. Make it look good, it shouldn't have any noticable negative effects.

realitycheck, where ya been?

I posted a question about a week ago on how to build / make a fiberglass spoiler.  I received a couple of suggestions but not enough to really put it all together.

This will not be a rice-wing rather a simple factory-style fiberglass spoiler for an 03 cavalier.

Will someone please post detailed instructions and advice on how to build a custom spoiler from scratch?

Please do not say just buy a factory spoiler.

Please post the detailed instructions on custom spoilers I will even pay if I have to that is how desperate and excited I am to get started on this.

Email me or post to the thread.

Thanks in advance.

If you can't do it from what was posted above, you might think about having someone else do it for you. The thing with the boat is about as detailed as it gets. Do exactly that, just change the size and shape.
