well I finally went out and started on one of two seperate sub boxes for my 12" RE SX's. My first hurdle was having to tape so damn much (that part sucked). Second was getting the resin mixture right. I wasted a whole gallon. Now the mold is made and ready to be built up. Quick question does the inside have to be smooth. These are going to be sealed enclosures.

no. it can be rough a bit on the inside. neatness counts. its the outside people will see. i might be wrong there, but i highly doubt it.

i mean, dont have globs of crap sticking out like tumors or anything, and you should be fine.

Even with "tumors" you should be ok. That may say something about the rest of the box though. posted_image

No need to sand what you can't see.
