I'm replacing the door speakers in my car with a component set. I applied sound dampener on both the inner and outer panels of the door. When I removed the old 6.5" pair in the front, I noticed rust and dirt around the magnet of the speakers.

I know that some people use 6-1/2" foam baffles (by XTC) around the speakers to protect them from dirt and moisture. Is there an effective alternative? They're out of stock at most places and I'd like to install the speakers in the next day or two. Cheers!
