I am planning to build a ported box for jl 2 12w3 d6 subsout of mdf , but dont know dimensions for the box. The trunk space i have to work with it is 31"w x 18"h x 20"-22"d. can someone help me with the demnsions? i tried the winsd, but did not understand it. thanks a lot for the help

look on JL's web sight or call a store that sells JL.

thanks for the replies. On JL's site they only give dimensions for 1 sub and I want to do two subs in the limited space i have.

You don't need to use the exact dimentions. You need the volume but it can be almost any shape to fit your trunk.

ok thanks for all the replies. I am now changing my plan to only using one sub, so that means that I can follow through with the plans jl had for it ported. Only thing now is that i ned your opinion on the hifonics tx1005d and the tx1505d amp. I am wondering if hifonics are good amps to push my sub in a ported box. thanks
