it is different than the high build primer,   but u shouldnt need the high build for plastic interior pieces.  i would go with the aerosol if u dont want to buy the system,  dont brush it on, might not look good, but u may be able to wetsand it.  i got a good deal on a hvlp gun set,  i think it was a 100pc,id have to check,  came with 2 guns cleaning tools, guages, and strainers for 30bucks.  at a flea market brand new.  it is made by cambell hausfeld.  i know its not the high end paint gun stuff, but i will probably only use it a couple of times.    for the air compressor, i am borrowing someones.  but u can find a good deal every once in a while on a 25gallon compressor for a bout 140 bucks.  they just had some down at a tool sale set up in the mall parking lot.

would u like your chicken original or extra crispy?

Use the aersol can hands down. As for the H.V.L.P. you get what you pay for. You can get an ok one from auto parts stores that is made by Mechanic (red gun white plastic cup). This is the one I started out with and did an ok job.
