what is the difference b/w this and isopropyl alcohol?
I bought some isopropyl (70%) today from wal-mart, but after reading on here it seems that I may need to go back and get some denatured alcohol or acetone. I need this to clean the interior before putting in some raammat.
Please advice b/c I would hate to improperly clean and have the mat falling off in the future.

Please help....

The isopropyl alcohol is deluted with water.  The denatured alcohol is staright 100% alcohol wihich is why it evaporates quickly if you leave the cap off.  They will both work basically the same, the denatured will clean it a little better but I have had success with both.  The denatured alcohol can be purchased in the gallon so that is nice.  I don't think using one over the other will cause your rammat to fall off.  If you are that concerned add some spray adhesive to the surface before applying the mat.  And as always make sure to press and rub it to the surface well.
