i mucked it up again, copy the links without the [IMG]'s and they should work. How can i post pics more easily??? HELP!

The problem is your format is [-P-] [-/P-] less the -s.

Not bad at all. If you have the chance get to the inside of the hatch and clean and seal the inside of the weld to keep rust working from the inside of the door out. Also put some primer on the body fill er to seal any water out. Just always keep in mind that rust will eat the car alive at any chance it gets so be carefull anytime you break the paint. Other than that, very nice work.

i welded it with a blowtorch and some wire. i have actually finised the thing, it's all painted and everything, and i did use bondo on the inside. here we don't have a lot of problems with rust as it is mostly dry here, but i did it just in case. after the pics here, i sanded a lot more, covered it with a couple of coates of white primer, then 2 white coats and two more coats of clear. it came out pretty ok, i'll take some more pics this weekend and i'll try to post them as soon as possible. auex, thanks for the help. i still dont understand how to post pics, but i'll figure it out. later

i used dupont automotive paint, and i used a gravity gun. i saw a thing chip foose did with water sprayed on the car and paint over it, has anyone tried it?? it looks cool...

exactly, i don't know how, but after laying the first coat of base colour, he sprayed water on top, then the second coat, and i think they use heat to dry it so the water evaporates or something, but in the end the car looks as if it were wet...

He used an oven to bake the paint at I thing somewhere around 120 F.. Then he wiped the surface dry with a clean rag to remove the loose paint and excess water. I have messed around with this many years ago and remember how to do it a little. If you need further clarification please let me know.
