Well, right now i have a c-west 2 front bumper........ the bumper is cracked in the middle (from gravel) and the bottom corner is sort of ripped off ( top part ripped off, bottom part is still attached).....  Is this fixable through fiberglassing? if so, instructions would be very helpful.  Or, is buying another bumper for around 400$ THEN painting my only option?

Thanks in advance

It definately sounds fixable. But like Jlord said it would help alot if we had a pic to better see what your saying.

If it's an authentic C-West kit ( which is made from Polyurethane ) then you need it plastic welded. If it's a C-West rip off ( Fiberglass ) then it can be repaired without a problem.

Oops I assumed it was fiberglass. I didnt know all C-west were polyurethane.

If it's actually a C-West made kit then it will be urathane , otherwise it will be made in the USA or Mexico and it will most likely be fiberglass.

Yeah then it's fixable...did it with a friends R34 sentra spec v kit a while back. The best way to fix the crack is to lay a layer of glass down on the inside of the bumper across the crack, body fill and sand the front side. As for the piece that is ripped off, it all depends on how well you can 1) fiberglass and 2) recreate something from nothing. It shouldn't be too bad, hell, I made a body kit for a Nissan Xterra out of an Acura Integra JDM kit! Post some pics so we can give better advice.

Thanks david...I can never seem to get my pics to load up on here; they always say it's too large.

The front bumper still needs ALOT of work, I just have ALOT of work.

I wake up at 0430 every morning and work until 530 at night so I only have the weekends to do most of my work (and I live in an apartment) but, that is the front bumper cut up and roughly fitted on the xterra. (not painted yet but primered) I have an accord rear bumper that is upstairs getting molded onto the rear.
