Ok I am working on a box for my car and after looking at it might have changed my mind about how I am going to go about it .. Also doesnt hurt that the new way will save some time... Like in the crappy diagram below you have the front box (RED) a hole has been cut in the back to allow me to work reinforcing the mold then it will be attached to the the rear box in yellow and sealed the grey area's will have to be notched out to allow for the depth of the subs and then glassed to seal.. that was the original idea however while I was looking at it today I was thinking I could just invert the two outside subs and not have to worry about clearance or notching out the sides of the box to make things clear... So which one do you think will look better I would rather put in the work to have what is better looking and not just easier but I can't seem to decide which looks better.. please ring in and give your opinion... if it at all matters they are going to be Eclipse Alum. Subs

As to your question. Why dont you go ahead and cut out the fleece around the speaker rings and sit your subs in there both ways. The regular way cone out, then flip them around inverted and just see which one you like better.

Those pics were from when the glass was first laid since then I cut the circles out about 20 mins later once the resin had Gelled.. I cut the back out and reinforced the back to about 3/8 or 1/2 depending on location glazed the front with a couple thin coats of resin to give me a little more to sand without hitting the fleece so as it sits now is....
As for how I attached the fleece nothing better then an Upholstery Stapler this is the one I have... https://www.porter-cable.com/index.asp?e=547&p=2592
I have tried both ways to see which I like better and I am really not sure that is why I was asking for advice. I might try to take some pics of both ways later just to lazy to drag those subs out to my shop..
