I have a 1995 ford mustang and am going to be redoing all of my interior. i have plans on taking the dash out, door panels, and the back pieces around the back seat These pieces consist of plastic and vinel pieces. for the dash i plan on just adding a spot to put a 7 inch or so tv screen, 2 or 3 gauges, and 2 tweeters. as for the doors i plan on adding a 6'9 or so speaker in each door panel.  and as for the back i would just put add 2-4 6'9's.

For this project how should i go about it and where should i start off?

My other project it to build a custom system in my trunk. Right now i have 2 12' kicker comp subs and a kicker amp. i don't know which direction to with that, so any ideas would help out alot. i'm thinking of doing it the way that the man that was doing the mazda miata did it.  also on the top of the trunk i was thinking of putting a 10-14 inch tv screen with 2 tweeters

Any suggestions would help

:D

I would start at the dash once you have that done then the rest will come together.

i think you sould start with the dash then you can start runing the wireing form your deck to the back and geting the thing setup to run the system. you sould always start with the brain of the system or the place that you are going to be staring at the most ( the dash). at the same time gust pick away at the other stuff like the door speakers they will be a big part of your system so spend some time to make the boxes for them well if you are going to make boxes for them. the 6x9's sould come last sinse they arent that importent there gust the finishing touch. after you done with the dash and stuff up front you start on the subs and amp box. it sounds like you arnt going to use this car for the everyday drive. that box is going to take up your hole trunk. hope this helps.

dont do 6x9's at all. your car has 5x7's (6x8's as ford calls em). put a good set of 6.5's in the doors as your front stage is the most important. it is simple to do, cut a peice of 1/4" hardboard the same shape as the 5x7 so it will fit the stock location using the factory screws. then cut the 6.5" mounting hole in the center of it, carpet the adaptor with black carpet. then use a decent 5x7 in the rear for rear fill (not as important). dont get suckered into buying the 6x9's just cause the wattage stamped on the box is a bigger number than any other speaker, most good speakers are geared to handle around 75 watts rms. (a factory hu puts out approx 3-5 watts rms and aftermarket units around 10-15 watts rms.)
