i never done anything fiberglass. i can do anything with wood, metal and body filler. but what is needed to do fiberglass? like kick panels or door pannels do i use just fiberglass. or do i make a box first and  fiberglass that? or is it just making a mold and if so with what?

okay i got all that down question number two. i read people paint there finished fiberglass projects why not use a gell-coat?          i must not be wording my searches rightposted_image

Did Sprahl85 for got about Catalyst? We have to mix 2% of Catalyst with resin to make it dry then, with out Catalyst how do it dry?. I'm not very experience about this but I work for the Hot Tubs factory, and use fiberglass sometime to make mold. so they used Catalyst to mix with resin to make it dry, ofcouse we still need fiberglass mat to make it strong.

He mentioned catalyst, but yes the resin wont harden without it.  It depends on conditions and the brand of product used but generally its between 1.5% and 3% catalyst to resin
