I have had some resin and hardener sitting on my shelf now for over a year. Do you think it would still set up?

As long as you haven't stored your MEKP with it you will be fine.  I had stored my MEKP on top of the tin and it seeped out and hardened the resin around the cap.  I had to cut the can open to get the resin out.  Just do what honda said and mix the resin really good before adding the MEKP.

Good Luck!
